Spring is here and tour season drug screening is in high drive. All offices are experiencing strong numbers of clients. We are extremely grateful for your business. I appreciate your trust in the TSS staff in meeting your drug screening needs. The sister company, AK STAR Training Institute, can provide for many of your safety training needs. CPR/FA is available once per month in Ketchikan or and as needed in Juneau and Keokuk, Iowa. Company specific classes are available on an as needed basis in Ketchikan as well. Call one of our locations to schedule your class. We also can assist you with background screening, customer service training, and many others. Our nationally certified staff is always ready to work hard for you.
The question for the day:
Can I allow my DOT safety sensitive personnel work prior to receiving the drug screen result?
The answer:
No. According to 49 CFR Part 40, an employer must receive the result prior to allowing safety sensitive personnel to begin duties in that area.
