Make Mine A Million RACE!! Attention Women Business Owners!!
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009
Ever wonder what a million women could get done in a one year time frame? Well, you are about to find out. Count Me In, a non-profit for women’s economic independence is launching the Make Mine A Million Race on THURSDAY, January, 29, 2009. This year long event will assist women in growth and diversity. It will challenge them to be their very best selves. And it will promote jobs and economic stimulus, a strong power that will help America turn the tide on the struggles of today’s economy. If you have doubt, check out the Count Me In website at http://www.countmein.org and see what the women who are currently awardees in this group have achieved. Nell Merlino, co-founder with OPEN from American Express, has an impressive resume of promotion and negotiation, that allows her the skill she needs to take women’s economic independence straight through the roof. As a 2006 awardee of this program, I can attest that it changed my life, by work and home. Meeting so many other business owners and learning from them has been extremely remarkable. No more reinvention of the wheel for me. Someone I know in Count Me In has seen it, done it and trademarked it. I cannot tell you how important this group has been to me. AND NOW, you too, can be part of this amazing sisterhood. Maybe you don’t even have a business yet, but have an idea for one. You are eligible too! Maybe you are not ready to be a millionaire… (what?) then ok, perhaps you could start prepping for the day that you are. At any rate now is the time. Check it out at http://www.rd.com (which is the Reader’s Digest site) and find Nell’s blog to learn more. When you register, use my code, RSCH. All throughout the year, we’ll be eligible for prizes, discounts, and most of all, the networking will make you a rock star. It does cost $100 to register, but I can guarantee you, it is the best 100 BUCKS you will ever spend. Call me if you have questions or if I can guide you through this process in any way. I would love to have you as part of the M3 group and grow our business together.
(Pssst… Nell told the Obama transition team that M3 would prove that women drive the economy. She told them that Rosie the Riveter had transformed into Elaine the Entrepreneur!)
